Exercises you can do with your vest

Immediately cease exercise if you feel dizzy, faint or short of breath.  Use of this vest in a manner other than prescribed may result in serious injury.

Begin with a warm up for 10 min, stretch and end with a 5 min cool down


Walk - start by walking on level terrain.  Progress to small hills and then longer steeper hills.










Squat - Stand in a wide stance.  Bend knees and hips.  Don’t let knees go past your feet.  Raise up and repeat 8-10 times.











Single squat - stand on one leg.  Bend knee you are standing on and raise back up.  Repeat 8-10 times.









Step down - Stand on a step, starting with 2-4 inch steps is recommended.  Lower one foot to lightly touch ground and raise back up.  Repeat 8-10 times.








Lunge - Stand with one foot in front of the other. Feet should be shoulder width apart.  Lower body toward floor slowly.  Front knee shouldn’t go past foot. 



Raise back up and repeat 8-10 times.  Switch feet and repeat 8-10 times.













Hop up - Stand with feet shoulder width apart.  Bend both knees and spring into air.  Repeat 8-10 times.













Stair climbing -  Walk up and down 1 flight of stairs.  Increase the number of flights that you climb as you can.











A Properly weighted vest will intensify any activity or exercise.
